Jig and a Swig is a social Irish dance class for adults, based in London Waterloo. We were founded in 2019 by former All-Ireland and Great Britain Irish dance champion and former Riverdance cast member, Jessie Leach. Jig and a Swig is all about having the craic, doing some cardio and building a community of Londoners who find joy and friendship in Irish dance. We offer classes for absolute beginners all the way through to advanced dancers, as well as performances, hen parties and corporate sessions. Jig and a Swig welcomes adults of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, genders, ethnicities and nationalities - particularly those with two-left feet! Our focus is on teaching traditional light shoe and heavy shoe Irish step dancing, with the occasional ceili thrown in!
